It's really good! The drawing is weel done and I loved the way you colored it. I know digital coloring is easier but never lose your "touch" with the color pencils. It's mor artistic and much more beautiful. Congratulations.
Oh I know that lesson, I used to own a book called "The Dragonslayers" one of the characters was a tomboy princess, and she scared me. Not because she was a tomboy, but because, SOMEHOW despite it being the middle ages, she got her hands on COMBAT BOOTS. Anyone who can nab footwear from another timeline scares me.

I want to learn how to do good digital coloring, but I want to learn traditional coloring first. I kind of like to have my art under my hands, physically, to be able to touch it. (then this is cleaned up digitally, like restoring colors after scanning, and in this case, erasing two extra quills that I inked in by mistake)
I try to do all of the coloring by hand.

I just draw what I draw. If you like it, that's fine. If you don't like it... ...that's fine, too.
Combat boots, man! And in the end SHE killed the dragon. You don't mess with a princess that can get futuristic clothing and kill a dragon in one swing(while in a peter pan costume on a rope)!

I see. You want to use digital software just to fix some saturation problems and the trace. The result is beautiful. Keep practicing because you're on the right way.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
